Fall Headstone Cleaning at Great Lakes National Cemetery

Each year, Team Honor joins other patriots at Great Lakes National Cemetery to clean the headstones of our nation’s heroes and their families buried there.
This meaningful act helps maintain the look and health of the headstones while also getting them ready for the holidays. It is also a great opportunity for you, your friends, and your family to earn volunteer hours. The event is hosted by the GLNC Advisory Council, which will offer hot dogs, chips, and beverages to volunteers afterward.
Once again, Team Honor is asking you to grab your 5-gallon buckets and scrub brushes and meet us on the morning of October 19th at GLNC to complete this worthwhile task.
How to Register:
- Please email [email protected], providing your full name and including the names of those joining you in your group.
- If you have a loved one buried there and would like to clean their headstone, please provide their name and location on the grounds, and we will try our best to reserve that section for the Team to clean.
- Include any questions you may have as well.
